Jeero vs. Danbo Setup
This is the setup photo for Jeero vs. Danbo.
The backdrop is a blue posterboard on the left and a pink one on the right. They are held loosely in place by large binder clips attached to my favorite dark shelf, which is most often the stage for my toy photos.
Two push-LEDs on the left provide backlighting for Jeero, and a single push-LED on the left provides backlighting for Danbo. Each figure is front-lit with large push-lights on each side of the camera lens. All of these lights are positioned using simple plastic cups, my new favorite lighting trick.
A box of raisins blocks the blue LED light from hitting the back of Jeero’s head. Yay raisins!
As usual, a large circular diffuser sits above the scene; you can just make out the edge of it at the top of this setup photo.

Setup
This photo was taken in my kitchen using some pretty simple Gear. You might be surprised to discover how low-tech my "photography studio" really is.
