Speedy vs. Kid Flash Setup

Speedy vs. Kid Flash Setup

Posted to Flickr on 03 September 2010. Part of the Setup series.

This is the setup photo for Speedy vs. Kid Flash.

The backdrop is made with two pieces of scrapbooking paper, yellow with some sparkle on the left and red on the right. Both pieces of paper are attached to foamboard behind them with sticky notes. The figures stand on paper matching the backdrop.

Above the scene a large circular diffuser softens the ambient light in the room. A dark strip of fabric is positioned just above the backdrop to darken it a bit. Two push-lights are set on top of the diffuser above the figures to provide a little "punch" of incandescent light.
