Crime Syndicate Superwoman vs. Justice Lords Wonder Woman Setup

This is the setup photo for Crime Syndicate Superwoman vs. Justice Lords Wonder Woman.

The backdrop is made with two pieces of scrapbooking paper with some glitter on them: red on the left and yellow on the right. They are attached to foamboard behind the figures with sticky notes. Each figure stands on a piece of scrapbooking paper with a dark print.

The figures are lit with a two push-lights, one on each side of the camera. Superwoman is back-lit with a small flashlight held up by a plastic chip container on top of some red raisin boxes. Wonder Woman is back-lit with two flashlights that I manually held behind and to the right of the camera. A small pink piece of sticky note is stuck to the yellow backdrop to help guide me as I aim the flashlights; the pink paper is blocked from the camera’s view by Wonder Woman’s head.

Above the scene a large circular diffuser (not shown) softens the ambient light in the room. A dark strip of fabric (not shown) is positioned just above the backdrop to darken it a bit. A second dark strip of fabric (not shown) is positioned over the Wonder Woman to give her side a little more darkness.
