Aladdin vs. Green Lantern John Stewart
This is the setup photo for Aladdin vs. Green Lantern John Stewart.
The backdrop for these figures is two pieces of scrapbooking paper. Aladdin’s backdrop is a sandy print while Green Lantern’s is glittery green. Both sheets of paper are attached to foamboard with sticky notes.
Scrapbooking paper also serves as the "floor" for each figure. Aladdin stands on a print of dry dirt while Green Lantern stands on glittery black.
Two push-lights, one on each side of the camera, light the figures. A flashlight wrapped in aluminum foil with a hole poked in it backlights the lamp, while Green Lantern’s ring is backlit with a clip LED shining through a green glass bead and mounted on a raisin box.
Above the entire scene sits a large circular diffuser (not shown).
