The Great Pumpkin vs. The Pumpkin King Setup
This is the setup photo for The Great Pumpkin vs. The Pumpkin King.
The backdrop is made of two sheets of scrapbooking paper held in place with sticky notes. The moon is a simple circle cut out of a sheet of white paper. Scrapbooking paper also serves as the "floor" of both scenes.
I picked up the plastic pumpkins and vines at a craft store in the weeks before Halloween. The "Welcome" sign is made of paper (a printout of this image that I darkened with a marker) taped to a white-colored toothpick.
Above the scene a large circular diffuser softens the ambient light in the room. A dark strip of fabric is positioned above the backdrop to darken it a bit.
