Samaritan vs. Martian Manhunter Setup
This is the setup photo for Samaritan vs. Martian Manhunter.
The backdrop behind Samaritan is a poster with sky and clouds. The backdrop behind the Martian Manhunter is a piece of black scrapbooking paper with "stars" I made with dabs of whiteout; it is held against a white posterboard with sticky notes. Forming a "shelf" above the backdrops is a piece of cardboard held up by cereal boxes. This helps darken the backdrops.
The figures are set up on a green T-shirt stretched across foamboard. The Martian Manhunter stands on a piece of scrapbooking paper covered in glitter.
Two push-lights on either side of the camera provide lighting for the figures.
Above the scene, as usual, is a large circular diffuser sits above the scene (not shown).
