White Rabbit vs. Rabbit Setup

White Rabbit vs. Rabbit Setup

Posted to Flickr on 14 September 2010. Part of the Setup series.

This is the setup photo for White Rabbit vs. Rabbit Setup.

The backdrop is made of two sheets of scrapbooking paper, a text/floral print on the left and a text-only print on the right. Both figures are standing on a sheet of scrapbooking paper with some glitter on them.

Red rocks provide some texture and help hide the purple base of the White Rabbit, because I don’t like bases. Some regular gray rocks add texture to Rabbit’s side.

Both figures are front lit with a single push-light on the right side of the camera.

Above the scene a large circular diffuser (not shown) softens the ambient light in the room. A dark strip of fabric (not shown) is positioned just above the backdrop to darken it a bit.
