1983 Jungle Adventure / Woodman Hand-Held Game
At Christmas in 1983 I received this quirky hand-held video game. Part of the "Play & Time" series from the company Masudaya, the unit features two games, Jungle Adventure and Woodman, as well as an alarm clock and stopwatch. Inexplicably, it plays the song Yesterday when you turn in on. The interface is old school: a black-and-white LCD display and nice soft rubber buttons to mash. It still works quite well; you can spend as many hours as you like getting eaten by LCD aligators.
This is one of many curious items collected in JD’s House of Miscellany.
