1971 Tom Thumb Name Badge
When I was a baby, and before he got into the restaurant business, my father was employed at a grocery chain called "Tom Thumb." This is the name badge he wore there. He gave it to me when I was very young because we share the same name.
Dymo Industries, who manufactured those old embossing label-makers, also manufactured this badge. The badge was specifically designed to fit their vinyl labels.
This is one of many curious items collected in JD’s House of Miscellany.

Setup
This photo was taken in my kitchen using some pretty simple Gear. You might be surprised to discover how low-tech my "photography studio" really is.
