1982 Hayride Accident Pants

1982 Hayride Accident Pants

Posted to Flickr on 25 February 2009. Part of the JD's House of Miscellany series.

My seventh grade year, at a Halloween party on my family’s farm, I fell off the side of a haywagon and was run over from the top of my head all the way down to my toes. In the rush to treat me in the emergency room my pants were cut off. With minor surgery and a week or so of recovery I was fine. My parents returned the pants to me as a bizarre souvenir of the event. They are size 12 Wrangler "No-fault demins."

This is one of many curious items collected in JD’s House of Miscellany.
