Booster Gold, Racer X, Cyclops, and Geordi La Forge have a future so bright, they gotta wear … visors.

Origin

I’ve wanted to revisit characters with visors ever since I teamed up Racer X and Cyclops back in my Duel 365 project from 2010.

Setup

The setup for this photo was very simple.

The backdrop is a gold-colored piece of glitter paper. A colored LED light provides the backlighting of yellow. A modified toilet paper tube serves to direct the light to the backdrop and away from the figures.

Above the scene is a large circular diffuser that softens the ambient light in the room.

I tried adding a little color to the background for variety, but I decided I liked the “pure” gold tones better.
