Chameleon Circuit

Chameleon Circuit

Posted to Flickr on 18 June 2012.

Close-up of a 4 1/2 inch TARDIS from Doctor Who.

Although designed to blend inconspicuously into its environment, the Doctor’s TARDIS retains the shape of a police box because of a malfunction in its chameleon circuit that occurred when the TARDIS landed in London in the year 1963.

Photo submitted to the Flickr group Macro Mondays for the "Camouflage" theme.
