1976 Little Construction Vehicles
I’ve had these little plastic construction vehicles for as long as I can remember. I don’t recall the details of how I acquired them, but I suspect they were birthday party favors. My set included a steam roller, dump truck, power shovel, forklift, and bulldozer.
I played with them when I was quite young, and then in my high school days I displayed the set in a shadow box that hung on my bedroom wall. Today, they live in a special wooden box dedicated to such trinkets.
Photo submitted to the Flickr group Macro Mondays for the "childhood memories" theme.
This is one of many curious items collected in JD’s House of Miscellany.
