All Good Things ...

Duel 365 is completed! I am both very happy and very sad that we’ve reached the end of the series.

Thanks once more to all of the people who participated in Duel 365 with comments, faves, suggestions, and encouragement. You kept me going each and every day, and I really appreciate it.

I’ve been getting a few recurring questions about the end of Duel 365:

1. Are you going to do another 365 project? Not any time soon. As much fun as Duel 365 has been, I’m looking forward to taking deadline-free photos again. I may do another 365 in the future.

2. Are you going to keep doing duels? Yes, I will. 2011 will mark the beginning of an ongoing series called "JDuels." It will not be a daily series, but for the most part it will continue in the tradition of Duel 365.

3. What else is next? Projects for 2011 include continuing existing series (Stormtroopers, Little Dudes, JD’s House Of Miscellany, Playing A Little Vinyl, etc.) as well as starting up a few new series, including JDuel. I also intend to continue showcasing other photographers in the Duel 365: Infinity gallery.

I will also be working on other Internet projects that will hopefully tie-in my Flickr photos in interesting ways.

Again, thank you everyone for your support of Duel 365. I don’t think I could have crossed the finish line without you!
