Nuclear Winter Wonderland

Nuclear Winter Wonderland

Posted to Flickr on 27 December 2010.

I had my exposure settings all wrong when I took this test shot of our Christmas tree. But even though it’s way over-exposed, I like this photo because it reminds me of the "Weird Al" Yankovic song "It’s Christmas at Ground Zero" in which the holidays are hilariously incinerated by nuclear destruction.

This image is straight out of the camera: no tweaking, no color processing, no cropping, no nothing.
