2005 First iPod

In the fall of 2005 I started a new job in a new city, but my family was not ready to move from our old home. As a result, for several months I lived in two places located two and a half hours apart. To help pass the time alone in the car on weekends, my wife bought me my first iPod.

The iPod came to represent that transition time: an old job ending and a new job beginning.
