Unhand Me!
Okay, this photo is pretty bizarre, even for me.
You’re looking at a wax cast of my hand as seen from the inside. I pointed the camera into the inside of the cast. The four "tunnels" on top are the wax fingers, and the one below is the wax thumb.
To give the photo some additional texture — not to mention some meta-weirdness — I placed my real hand over the wax cast while shooting. By blocking some of the light from above, my real fingers created dark stripes across the top.
